The Nuclea technology is a translational medicine based technology-defined as the transfer of laboratory results into new ways of diagnosing and treating patients. This approach entails using clinical data to link genes and proteins to relevant human diseases. It is the essential loop from lab bench to bedside, where theories emerging from pre-clinical studies are tested on disease-affected human subjects, and back from bedside to lab bench, where information obtained from preliminary human studies can be used to refine understanding of the biological principles underpinning human disease and enable the discovery of disease specific biomarkers.

This strategy is the foundation of drug development programs world-wide, therefore allowing pharmaceutical companies to develop more efficient medicines for human diseases. The platform provides a systematically organized basis for collecting an ever-increasing set of clinical, molecular, and outcomes information and then analyzing the data for insights into next stages of research. In essence it is an exponential expansion of small trials. This platform could be described as a virtual clinical trial that can help to predict the response of a specific gene antibody or compound before pre-clinical trials are complete.

Nuclea Biomarkers, LLC does not sell human tissue specimens to third parties for Tissue Array Development. Nuclea was not formed for the purpose of selling human tissues for commercial purposes. The mission of Nuclea is to commercialize new diagnostic assays and therapeutic targets based on gene and protein signatures. We utilize Tissue Arrays to validate and develop new gene signatures and to discover new and interesting therapeutic targets and create data for research.
